When I was younger, I always wanted to be an interior designer. The idea of transforming a plain, bare room into a vibrant space filled with personality and life has always intrigued me. The thought of being able to express my creativity and passion through the medium of interior design was enough to set my heart racing.
Realizing My Passion
As a child, I was always fascinated by the world of design and architecture. The various shapes, textures, and colors that could be combined to create a unique and beautiful masterpiece were alluring. It was during these early years that I realized my passion for interior designing. I would spend hours sketching out room layouts, choosing color schemes, and envisioning how different furniture pieces could be arranged. This hobby soon transformed into a dream, as I aspired to become an interior designer.
Learning the Ropes
My journey towards achieving my dream started in earnest when I began to really dive into the work and career path of an interior designer. Initially, I was not formally trained. I was operating solely on passion and the God-given gift of being able to formalize a space, and really tap into what my client needed. my formal education in the field of interior design. Since moving forward, I know that there were situations and operational outputs that I needed to hone in on and this comes with formal training. Recently, I have engaged in courses to upgrade my gifts with the knowledge and skills I need to understand the intricate details of interior design. From learning about color theory to studying the history of architecture, each lesson I learnt was a step towards my dream.
Unleashing My Creativity
With the knowledge and skills I have acquired, I was eager to start practicing what I had learned. I began by redesigning my own room, transforming it from a bland, uninspiring space into a vibrant and inviting environment. The joy and satisfaction I experienced during this process solidified my decision to pursue interior design as a career.
Facing Challenges
Like any journey, my path towards becoming an interior designer was not without its challenges. There were times when I questioned my abilities and doubted whether I could make a career out of my passion. However, with perseverance and determination, I was able to overcome these obstacles and continue on my path towards achieving my dream.

Today, I am proud to say that I am living my dream. As an interior designer, I have the opportunity to transform spaces and create environments that reflect the personalities and styles of my clients. Each project presents a new challenge and a chance for me to express my creativity and passion. Despite the challenges and obstacles I have faced, I am grateful for the journey that has led me to where I am today. And as I continue to grow and evolve as a designer, I look forward to the many more challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
