Some DIYs are so easy, it makes you smile. Here are two that I did to fill temporary spaces on my walls.
I’ll refer to the art as Frame 1 and Frame 2. It started with finding ways to display different accents that contained leopard print in certain areas of the home. I had a few walls that were empty and I had not found the painting that quite “fit” that I wanted to permanently display.
For Frame 1. I took a scarf and placed it on top of the matte inside the frame and positioned it so it wouldn’t move, then closed the back of the frame. The scarf is a brown leopard-print silk like material. See the video I created for TikTok:
Supplies:
- Edsbruk frame. Sold at IKEA. This frame was 19×27~ in size
- Hot glue and glue gun
- 1 large oversized scarf – one that you enjoy seeing time and time again and fits the theme of the room.
Frame 2: I chose to use the same frame – the Edsbruk from IKEA. I paired it with a rug called the “Kleis” from IKEA. See the video. All in all it was less than $22 to complete this DIY. Note** the prices stated in this video may have adjusted since this recording was made.
I also recorded the video with steps to show what I did.
